One year old.
One year since we launched our 'why are you doing that dot com'.
'Why are you taking a risk on young designers?'
'They'll let you down; they'll deliver late; they'll disappear with your money.'
'People want brands they know, established names.'
They spoke tosh.
And we just carried on regardless. We believed in them you see. In their bright, unstoppable talent. In their taking risks, daring to be different. In their hard work, their sheer determination, their joy. In their creation of the "take your breath away" unique.
And in them doing it here. In Great Britain.
It's London Fashion Week next week. Many of our designers will be there. Some for the very first time. Strutting their marvellous stuff and we will be so very proud of them.
And so very lucky to be a part of their journey.
Roll on year two.
