There's a new feeling in the air. It's to do with January and February being done. It's to do with the last few glorious days of unexpected sunshine telling of wonders to come. And the daffodils. And the snowdrops. And sweet smelling hyacinths too.
(And did we mention the new summer brights arriving on a daily basis from our bright young designers?)
It's to do with Easter being in view, with summer holidays being investigated, discussed and booked, with opaque tights starting to look, well, opaque. In a bad way.
But for us at Young British Designers it's mostly about the wonderful new season deliveries fit to burst their boxes with colour and all manner of delectation.
There are just so many pieces making our eyes pop and our hearts sing!
Colours are running riot with our senses: Purples, yellows and fresh, bright greens from Charlotte Taylor; Tulip Reds and Emeralds from Sophie Gittins; Pillar Box Reds and Jades from Fanny & Jessy; Cobalt Blues and Oranges from J.W.Anderson; Ochres and Aquas from Felicity Brown; zingy yellows and hot pinks from Olivia Rubin; even a yellow summer jumper from Studio Nicholson!
Not forgetting the prettiest summer dresses in bloom from borne and Kelly Love....
We want to shrug off our forlorn Winter blacks and greys and emerge as shimmering, effervescent new girl butterflies. Every day we want to be a new rainbow.
We have never loved our bright young things' bright creations more....
And there's tomorrow's deliveries to look forward to too!
