Background
The Elvis & Kresse Arts Range in collaboration with Issi was officially launched at Esthetica, London Fashion Week 2010. Elvis & Kresse create stunning lifestyle accessories by re-engineering seemingly useless waste.
The innovative and pioneering Fire Hose range is made exclusively from de-commissioned British fire brigade hoses which, after a distinguished career fighting fires and saving lives, are otherwise destined for landfill. Some 50% of the profits from this line are donated to the Fire Fighters Charity. Issi combines the best of Elvis & Kresse with the design aesthetic of award winning and groundbreaking artists.
Inspiration
The 'Girl on Fire' Purse is designed by Olivier Millagou. Millagou's body of work has been dedicated to re-reading reality and falsifying the codes and images we associate with it. One of Oliver's signature lines of text is used on this design inspired by none other than Nancy Sinatra.
Paul Morrison was born in Liverpool and attended Goldsmiths College, London. His work is featured in many public collections both at home and abroad. The stunning messenger bag and kit bag are both entirely representative of his design brilliance.
