Background

Newly established British Jewellery label Cabinet launched their second ever collection at London Fashion Week in 2010. Their debut collection 'Amnesia' had met with an outstanding reception and had attracted massive interest from Fashion's elite.

Building on four years of previous freelance collaborations Gemma Critchley and Zara Braganca formed a partnership in 2008, committed to developing a brand which is defined by its carefully refined and uniquely sourced materials. The ethos is to create one of a kind and limited edition jewellery pieces, coveted for their use of rare and unusual objects. Each piece is entirely handcrafted in the UK.

Emphasis is placed very much upon individuality and self-expression designed to be interpreted by the wearer, creating their very own signature style; free spirited with a considered edge, true luxury which can be worn for upbeat, everyday glamour or treasured for an occasion.

It is no wonder that the brand is being labeled: 'Wearable Works Of Art'.

Inspiration

For 2011 Cabinet have continued upon their wondrous journey seeking out rare and unusual pieces and inspirations to provide the platform for their highly individual and sustainable creations: "We search for the perfect piece of inspiration and you know instantly when it's right, we have to truly love what we find as these are the foundations upon which our designs will stand".

How does it make you feel?

As though you are wearing your very own, very special secret.
