We extend our Returns Policy over the Christmas period. Online orders placed between 26 November and 21 December can be returned by Royal Mail or courier by 11 January. For orders placed after 21 December, the normal 14 day returns period applies.
We are committed to making shopping at Young British Designers a pleasurable experience and naturally hope you are delighted with your order. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied you may request a return within 14 days of receipt of goods (see How To Make A Return). You then have a further 14 days to return your unwanted order.
If an item should be found to be defective on delivery please advise us immediately and return item within 14 days.
Please note: all returned items must be in new, unused and saleable condition complete with all tags still attached, original packaging and boxes in perfect condition. We regret that, for reasons of hygiene, earrings cannot be returned.
Clients are responsible for return shipping charges. If there was a mistake on the part of YBD or if the item was faulty or damaged, customers will be reimbursed for both delivery and return shipping charges.
Please note that we do not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods. YBD will not refund international duties and taxes. For more information on reclaiming international duties and taxes, please contact your local customs office.
We recommend you use a reliable postal service or courier that will provide you with a tracking number and insure you for the value of the goods whilst in transit, as the parcel will remain your own responsibility until it reaches us.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund in the event of a customer not making all reasonable efforts to allow our postal service or courier service to deliver in accordance with the terms and conditions. This also applies in the case of items which are returned to Young British Designers by the postal or courier service ('returned to sender') outside our specified returns time limit.
Please note that the customer is responsible for any costs relating to packages returned by our carriers as 'non-deliverable'. These items may also be subject to a handling charge.
