This very special limited edition piece is A Perfect Nomad's first design from a meaningful partnership with THE HIGHLAND SUPPORT PROJECT in Guatemala. This is a non-profit organisation supporting indigenous communities and preserving their heritage and ancient crafts. Designed to be worn over bare skin or swimwear, barefoot on the beach or to a party with heels. Not only feels lovely to wear but also feels lovely to be doing good.

CREATION KAFTAN. Stripe by A Perfect Nomad. A statement making kaftan inspired by the Mayan culture and using only natural raw elements. The terracotta and ecru striped kaftan features: gentle V-neck to the front, wide classic shape with elbow length sleeves and heavy hand-tassled details in a contrast yellow ochre to the front and back. The thread for this piece has been woven on a traditional foot loom, an ancient art and process that involves the artist Don Rudy taking four days to weave each single kaftan. The fabric was naturally dyed using a mix of botanical plants to create this rich earthy hue. One of the main ingredients in the dye is the bark of the plantain tree. Handwash only.
