We Think
Boldly floral and graphic with occasional DARN flourishes of bright colour added on almost as a translucent layer.
Details
DIANE SILK SCARF by Darn. The Limited Edition Diane Silk Scarf derives from DARN's 'A Little Lift' collection of gloriously designed silk scarves. 'A Little Lift' was developed after a trip to Mexico and then formulated during quarantine. This collection features a colour palette pulled from the native Bougainvillea flower and the iconic home of Luis Barragan. ‘A Little Lift’ pays homage to the endless inspiration that can be found in colour, nature and pioneering women. The Diane silk scarf is named after the legendary jockey, Diane Crump (b.1949). Diane was the first female American to race at The Kentucky Derby in 1970, aged just 20. Over the course of her 30 year career she won over 200 races, inspiring a future generation of female riders. Amelia's design features hand-drawn British snakehead tulips, those you see poking their heads above Spring meadows, with their perfect check-like pattern reminiscent of racing silks. Comprises: 100% silk twill. Gentle hand wash. Do not use highly acidic soap or soap containing detrimental detergents or bleach. Do not tumble dry. Designed and printed in Sussex, England.
