RIVER STONE I SHAWL by Wild Rose Weaving. The ‘River Stone’ series was inspired directly from the colours found within the River Lyd on the Upper Western side of Dartmoor, Devon. A rich combination of subtle grey blues, whites and silvery tones, these pieces are made in honour of this sacred river and aim to cocoon their wearer within the freedom of water and groundedness of stone. Materials: British Wool from varying Breeds and counties (Shetland, Romney, Gotland, Jacobs, Texel, BFL), Grey and White Peruvian Wool from the Andean Mountains, Cotton and Linen Warp. Designed and woven by hand by Rosemary of Wild Rose Weaving exclusively for Young British Designers.
